My entry for wacom's contest - "Bring your vision to life: Dreams Contest"
Credits: Model: The lovely, Sara X [link] MUA: The talented, Natalia Lopez de Quintana [link] Photography & Art Direction: Myself Theme Description: Dreams are not only made of chocolate... This is supposed to be a delectable chocolaty theme which of course ended up getting messy, but it has more symbolic meaning than you think. The hat is custom made (by me) with brown and golden lace bows, knitted doily, and of course, Godiva chocolates! I had Sara hold an apple, which to me symbolizes wisdom, and well, what we do (based on what we know or experience) in life is always in our hands. And well, you can kind of get the picture with what I'm getting at here! I won't go too much in depth because it's (a little) personal... But in a nutshell, my hopes and dreams are to always keep learning, and gain what we call wisdom in my everyday experiences... Sometimes the things we need to learn and grow in life are usually the most painful experiences of sorrow and loss. As blue as it may seem, knowledge and most importantly strength, is golden. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
